Robert Kuźniewski ,,Rekin”

Robert is our guide for the Lower Silesia region and the Czech Republic. He knows these waters like the back of his hand and is an excellent angler and guide, as confirmed by our guests who have refined their techniques and caught beautiful fish under his guidance. He is fluent in German. Meet the master:

My name is Robert Kuźniewski, but in the angling community, they call me “The Shark.”
I’ve been fishing since I was 7 years old. I grew up by the Kwisa River in Leśna, where I took my first steps in angling. Later, I gained experience fishing in the waters of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. After trying all fishing methods, I eventually focused on fly fishing, which is now my main specialization.

As a fly fisherman, I competed in the Polish GPX tournaments, gaining valuable knowledge. I have been a multiple-time champion of the Jelenia Góra district and also a champion of Lower Silesia. I see fly fishing as a fantastic way to catch a wide variety of fish species, especially in lowland waters.

I’m no stranger to catching pike, perch, roach, zander, chub, asp, ide, carp, and basically anything that swims – all on the fly. I strongly follow the “catch and release” principle and promote angling as a great way to spend time in nature.

As a guide, I most often visit rivers like the Kwisa and Bóbr, home to wild brown trout and grayling. I also guide anglers in the Czech Republic, where you’ll find beautiful mountain rivers and reservoirs perfect for fishing from a belly boat — catching stunning rainbow and brook trout.

I invite you to join me on trips and learn the art of fly fishing in both lowland and mountain waters.
